In response to recent changes to Federal funding, Screenworks has moved to a new business model where donations now play a crucial role in helping us continue to develop our local screen industry.
Screenworks needs your support to ensure that we are able to continue to stimulate local business in the Northern Rivers by attracting productions to the region, to provide skills development for local screen practitioners, and host screenings and discussions with leading filmmakers for our community.
Money raised through one-off donations will be used to create new innovative programs that support the local industry and the creation of more screen projects in the Northern Rivers.
Although we receive funding from the NSW State Government and generate income through membership fees and event ticket sales, due to the recent changes, donations and philanthropic support are now an important component to Screenworks becoming a sustainable industry body.
By investing in our work, you will become an integral part of the fabric of the Northern Rivers Screen Industry and make a direct contribution to our success. We will wholeheartedly welcome you into our ‘screen family’ and keep you informed about our growing industry, our local stories and our events.
Large or small, all contributions help make a difference and donations of $2 and above receive a tax-deductible receipt.
Supporters giving over $100 are listed and acknowledged on our website, in event programs, in Screenworks’ Annual Reports, and may have the opportunity to attend special donor events during the year.
Donations over $2 are tax deductible.
