Claire Lindsay is a Producer based on the mid north Coast of NSW who has worked in the media landscape for fifteen years and has experience across radio and television production, live television broadcasts, short films and documentary series. Her career began at the Special Broadcasting Service Sydney where she spent three years performing various roles across the Human Resources and News and Current Affairs Departments before making the move to Brisbane Queensland taking the role of Production Manager for Network 7 Brisbane. Highlights of this role included the Brisbane River Festival Opening Night Live Outside Broadcast 2007 and 2008. Claire then went on to work across Channel 7’s suite of nationally broadcast lifestyle programs as Production Coordinator, Production Manager and Segment Producer. Over the last five years, Claire has co-produced and co-directed Wild Kitchen with Clayton Donovan, which aired on ABC1 in 2014 and recently worked as Production Manager and Story Producer on Australian by Degree Series one and two for the ABC Australia Plus Network. Claire is of Aboriginal descent her indigenous ancestors traditional Gamilaraay country is in and around Garah, Boggabilla, Boomi and Mungindi. Claire enjoys storytelling that challenges the status-quo, and gives a voice to minorities and the marginilised. Claire’s passion is documentary film making with three Social Impact Documentaries currently in development. Stories that evoke dialogue, raise awareness and create positive social change is at the heart of her work. Claire is also proficient at shooting high quality video, editing on Final Cut X and Premiere and holds an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts Media and Communications degree from the University of New South Wales.

Based on the north coast of NSW, the series uncovers Clayton’s unique approach to food while exploring the diverse landscape and culture of the region. The people, stories and landscape combine to create a vibrant and upbeat series that incorporates Indigenous culture.
