Ashleigh is an actor, writer and producer from Cairns, Queensland. Her background as a lawyer with a passion for social justice deeply influences her creative work, infusing her ethos with a unique perspective and a strong sense of purpose. Ashleigh has been involved in several notable projects locally, including short films THE MUSE, as producer and actor, IF STILETTOS COULD TALK, as writer, producer and lead actor, and THE DATING APPS SAFETY PROJECT, as co-writer and actor, in conjunction with NQ Women’s Legal Service and Central QLD University. THE DATING APPS SAFETY PROJECT was a finalist in the Australian Financial Review Higher Education Awards 2024 (Community Service Award).  

Her work delves into themes of justice, transformation, and healing. She champions the underdog, driven by a deep curiosity and admiration for those often overlooked. Inspired by exploring hidden depths and amplifying unheard voices, Ashleigh aims to create powerful, emotive artworks that challenge perceptions and reveal the intricate, compelling nature of individuals.
