“Winning AACTA Pitch, along with my partner John Kachoyan, and us getting to go to New York was absolutely mind-blowing! Programs and opportunities like Screenworks’ are truly special because they connect us to the wider ecosystem of our industry.

As writers, we spend a lot of time alone, so this was a fantastic way to break out of that bubble. The time spent in the US for AACTA Pitch (I mean, pitching at the Lincoln Center was just insane!) directly led to me getting US representation and building relationships with US creatives. Since then, I’ve had a feature film made, AUDREY, worked on projects with Spain and the US, and continued to develop my relationships with US film and television makers.”
