Screen NSW
Screen NSW is established to assist, promote and strengthen the screen industry in NSW so as to promote Australia’s cultural identity, encourage employment in all aspects of screen production, encourage investment in the industry, enhance the industry’s export potential, encourage innovation and enhance quality in the industry.
Through its funding programs and skilled staff Screen NSW:
- Supports the screen production sector to make quality projects that create jobs and grow stable businesses in the State;
- Provides advice and information to improve capability in the sector and enable industry practitioners to participate in the global industry;
- Funds and promotes new forms of screen content and use of technology;
- Collaborates with industry to create opportunities; and
- Facilitates all aspects of filming in NSW to make it the most attractive State for screen production.
Screen Australia
Screen Australia is the Federal Government agency charged with supporting Australian screen production. Its aim is to help create an Australian industry that is innovative, culturally important and commercially sustainable.
Screen Australia has supported the growth of Screenworks through its Enterprise funding program.
Screen Queensland
Screen Queensland is the state government-owned agency investing in locally made films, series and digital games, and attracting international and interstate production and post-production. The agency runs career-building initiatives for practitioners around the state and supports film festivals and industry events such as Screen Forever, Asia Pacific Screen Awards and the AACTA Awards and Festival. Screen Queensland also operates Screen Queensland Studios in Brisbane and Cairns.
Netflix
Netflix is a streaming service that offers a wide variety of award-winning TV shows, movies, anime, documentaries and more on thousands of internet-connected devices. Screenworks partners with Netflix to deliver the Regional Crew Pathways program.

Australians in Film
Founded in 2001, Australians in Film (AiF) is a Los Angeles based non-profit film, television and digital content foundation that supports and promotes Australian screen talent and culture in the United States. AiF hosts regular screenings and special events to celebrate the work of Australian content creators and talent.
AiF’s career development and education programs include the prestigious Heath Ledger Scholarship, Mentor LA, Village Roadshow/Animal Logic Entertainment Internship, Greg Coote Fellowship, Gateway LA and The Writers Room AiF is based at Charlie’s, a shared workspace at the historic Raleigh Studios in Hollywood. Charlie’s a bespoke hub for business, collaboration and networking for the Australian screen community in Los Angeles.
