To make it easier and more affordable for you, Screenworks has updated the membership categories and prices.

This will come into effect from 1st December 2023.

From that date, Screenworks will be offering three memberships categories at the following prices :

Screenworks membership categories as of 1/12/2023

  • Current Regional Professional and Regional Associate members will become a Screenworks Member; Individual Practitioner – Regional
  • Current Metropolitan Members will become a Screenworks Member; Individual Practitioner – Metro
  • Regional Business members will become a Screenworks Business Member Regional with the option to include up to 5 individuals per business.
  • Regional Student members will remain as a Screenworks Student Member
  • We have a new category that offers businesses who are metropolitan based the opportunity to join and support Screenworks as a Screenworks Business Member – Metro

If you are a fully paid up current member, your next membership renewal will be arranged on a pro rata basis. You will be sent a renewal notice when the term of your membership expires according to the month you paid up to against the new membership prices.  

I am currently a Screenworks member, do I need to do anything to change my membership to a new membership type?

  • If you currently have a Screenworks ‘Regional Professional’ membership at $70, your membership will be transferred to ‘Screenworks Regional Member’ as an individual practitioner. Your next full renewal annual membership fee will be reduced to $29 and you will be sent a renewal notice when your current membership payment is due to expire based on the months your current payment will have covered.
  • If you currently have a Screenworks ‘Regional Associate’ membership at $45, your membership will be transferred to ‘Screenworks Regional Member’ as an individual practitioner. Your next full renewal annual fee will be reduced to $29 and you will be sent a renewal notice when your current membership payment is due to expire based on the months your current payment will have covered.
  • If you currently have a Screenworks ‘Metropolitan’ membership at $100, your membership will continue to be a ‘Screenworks Metro Member’ as an individual practitioner. Your next full renewal annual membership fee will be reduced to $69 and you will be sent a renewal notice when your current membership payment is due to expire.
  • If you currently have a Screenworks ‘Student’ membership at $30, your membership will continue to be a ‘Screenworks Student Member’. Your next full renewal annual membership fee will be $10. You will be sent a renewal notice when your current membership payment is due to expire based on the months your payment will have covered.
  • If you currently have a Screenworks ‘Business’ membership at $220, your next full renewal annual membership type will be either a ‘Screenworks Regional Business Member’ at $199 or a Screenworks ‘Metro Business Member’ at $299 depending on where your business is based. Both membership options can have up to 5 individuals per business. 
  • If you are a regionally based business and currently have a Screenworks ‘Business’ membership at $220, your next full renewal annual membership fee will be for a ‘Screenworks Regional Business Member’ at $199. You will be sent a renewal notice when your current membership payment is due to expire based on the months your payment will have covered.
  • If you are a metropolitan based business and currently have a Screenworks ‘Business’ membership at $220, your next full renewal annual membership fee will be for a ‘Screenworks Regional Business Member’ at $299. You will be sent a renewal notice when your current membership payment is due to expire based on the months your payment will have covered.

What happens if I have recently paid half price for an annual Screenworks membership?

  • If you have recently paid ½ price for your Screenworks membership, you will be sent a renewal notice when your current membership payment is due to expire and your next membership fee will be at the new membership price
  • If you paid ½ price for Screenworks ‘Regional Professional‘ membership at $35, your membership will be transferred to ‘Screenworks Regional Member’ as an individual practitioner. Your next full renewal annual membership fee will be reduced to $29 and you will be sent a renewal notice when your current membership payment is due to expire based on the months your payment will have covered.
  • If you paid ½ price for Screenworks ‘Regional Associate’ membership at $22.50, your membership will be transferred to ‘Screenworks Regional Member’ as an individual practitioner. Your next full renewal annual fee will be $29 and you will be sent a renewal notice when your current membership payment is due to expire.
