YOUR PRODUCING CAREER STARTS HERE
The Opportunity
The Regional Producer Elevator Program 2026 gives early-career producers from regional NSW the chance to develop their skills, grow their networks, and implement a tailored professional development plan to advance their careers.
With the support of Screen NSW, this annual program enables participating producers to craft personalised career plans, with a $3,500 investment from Screenworks to help turn their professional ambitions into reality.
How It Works
Applicants are required to submit a 12-month Career Plan to the value of $3500 (excluding GST), outlining activities to grow their skills and advance their careers.
This may include:
- Training or professional development courses
- Attendance at conferences, events, or markets
- Mentoring or guidance from industry professionals
The two successful applicants will each receive:
- $3,500 to support their bespoke career development plan
- Gain introductions to key players in the Australian screen industry
- Registration to Screenworks’ 2026 Regional to Global Screen Forum
- Complimentary Associate SPA membership
- Access career and project guidance from an experienced professional producer
Delivered by Screenworks with the support of Screen NSW and in partnership with Screen Producers Australia (SPA), participants will also have access to discounted SPA events and activities. SPA will be supporting this program by assessing the applications.
