SCREENWORKS PROGRAMS

Upskill your career through a diverse and relevant range of professional development workshops, seminars and events.

How we structure our programs:

Screenworks delivers three different levels of programs to provide more practical and progressive pathways to success for regional screen practitioners at every level of experience.

  • Skills Advancement Series – A series of workshops and intensives (in-person and online) to address skills development for both above and below-the-line roles, for early entry to more advanced screen, media and digital games practitioners.

  • Career Advancement Program – A series of pathway programs designed to support regional people who have been identified through Screenworks programs as demonstrating talent, potential and commitment, as well as being open to regional talent who may not have engaged with Screenworks previously.

  • Project AdvancementInitiatives to empower regional screen creators to develop authentic regional stories that are market savvy, including a mentored studio-style Creative Residency program, and the AACTA Pitch Regional Landscapes – nurturing  ideas and talent to broaden the representation of NSW communities in the Australian screen industry.
