Talent isn’t the barrier for regional screen practitioners. Access is.
On Thursday 22 October, Screenworks is taking part in our first AusArt Day, the national giving day for Australian arts. Our campaign, Amplify Regional Screen Stories, aims to raise $15,000 to help regional screen storytellers develop their craft and build careers, wherever they create from.
Your support will help us deliver training, industry connections and bespoke initiatives that create sustainable pathways into film, television and games for writers, directors, producers and crew, from the Northern Rivers to Cairns, Hobart to Alice Springs.
As the only national organisation dedicated entirely to regional screen practitioners, Screenworks is the one place you can back screen careers outside the major cities.
See below for how you can get involved. All donations to Screenworks are tax-deductible, and thanks to the matched funding we’ve secured, pledges made before AusArt Day will be matched on October 22.
Offer Matched Funding
Matched gifts are the single most powerful driver of giving on the day: every donation is doubled, up to the amount you pledge. If you or your organisation would consider contributing to our matching pool, we’d love to talk. You can be named as our matching partner or stay anonymous.
Pledge a Donation
Tell us now what you’d like to give, and we’ll remind you on the morning of 22 October. Pledges help us build momentum and show potential matching partners that our community is behind us. Every amount makes a difference.
We’re asking for pledges before AusArts thanks to the matched funding we’ve secured. That means any pledges made before the day will be matched on October 22.
