Talent isn’t the barrier for regional screen practitioners. Access is.
On Thursday 22 October, Screenworks is taking part in our first AusArt Day, the national giving day for Australian arts. Our campaign, Amplify Regional Screen Stories, aims to raise $15,000 to help regional screen storytellers develop their craft and build careers, wherever they create from.
Your support will help us deliver training, industry connections and bespoke initiatives that create sustainable pathways into film, television and games for writers, directors, producers and crew, from the Northern Rivers to Cairns, Hobart to Alice Springs.
As the only national organisation dedicated entirely to regional screen practitioners, Screenworks is the one place you can back screen careers outside the major cities.
We’re excited to share that we’ve secured matched funding, so every gift made on Thursday 22 October will be doubled until the matched funds run out. All donations to Screenworks are tax-deductible.
