Screenworks Inaugural Screenwriters meeting

A free event open to all Screenworks members interested or experienced in writing for film, television or digital media.
Come along and meet with other local screenwriters to discuss and develop your craft of writing and story telling for the screen.
Why:
A good story is essential to any good screen production and we know how important it is to nurture our storytellers. We want help our local story tellers write their stories and we want to help them connect with screen industry professionals, producers and filmmakers who can assist them to bring their stories to the screen.
Come along if you:
- have been writing a script and want to polish it and explore it’s production potential
- are interested in scriptwriting but not sure where to start
- love writing and want to connect with other writers
- looking to collaborate on story development
- are an experienced writer willing to share your talent and expertise with other writers
What:
Our first meeting we will be discussing what you want from a Screenwriters Group and how you want it to run.
We have some feedback from a questionnaire we put out earlier so we will start by discussing the ideas put forward.
