Screenworks, supported by Create NSW, have curated this seminar on the why and how of attracting film and television production to the North West region of NSW, specifically Tamworth, Gunnedah and surrounds.

These regions are surrounded by some of the richest and varied agricultural country in the nation. National Parks, diverse architecture, historic townscapes and quaint country villages combined with easy access via rail, road and air are all excellent resources to encourage TV and Film Production to these regions. With better promotion of these significant assets, there is potential to attract more inbound screen productions, bolster the local economy and create more jobs.

Come along to find out about the business of location attraction in NSW, how best to market your property, create extra revenue and generate free publicity. This seminar is aimed at filmmakers, aspiring location scouts, government location liaison officers, tourism officers, event officers as well as private and public property owners.

Create NSW offers incentives to attract footloose production and post-production to NSW, and offers location and production liaison services to eligible productions considering locating in Sydney and NSW.
