This seminar will show you how to get on to a film crew, straight from the mouths of the regions most experienced Heads of Departments and key crew.

Screenworks Who’s On The Crew? is for screen industry professionals as well as anyone building a career in the film industry – opportunities for work on local productions can be few and far between. Be ready for the next opportunity by getting tips from, and getting to know the local professionals.

Presenters

Lois Randall is a Screen Producer and Arts Manager with over 20 years of industry experience. Her credits include Producer – The Gods of Wheat Street, Development Consultant – Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, Line Producer – East of Everything 2

Tony Campbell has 28yrs professional experience in the film, television and theatre industries. Tony has art directed the feature films Mad Bomber in Love, Eternity, Love Serenade, Holy Smoke, The Monkey’s Mask, Lantana, Ned, Thunderstruck, Razzle Dazzleand A Heartbeat Away. TV art direction credits include the Jan Chapman produced Naked-Stories of Men series and the award winning Road from Coorain, The God’s of Wheat Street plus countless television commercials.

Cassie Hanlon – For the past 25 years Cassie has worked on big budget films such as The Great Gatsby, Star Wars, Superman and the Chronicles of Narnia. Cassie was awarded the prestigious British Academy of Film and Television Arts award for her amazing work on Priscilla Queen of the Desert.

Annie Benzie has many years experience working in different streams of the industry from television to feature films. She was 2nd Unit DOP / 2nd Camera on ABC TV’s East of Everything, Live action DOP on dirtgirlworld (greenthumbs) and more recently shot Stubbies Change the World Challenge and the Wetland Discovery Tour.
