A behind the scenes journey with Set Decorator Christian Petersen.

ChristianPetersenOcean Shores based Christian Petersen has recently returned from a gruelling 9 month job as set decorator for the $US90 million Netflix production Marco Polo where he worked across multiple locations in Italy, Kazakhstan and Malaysia.  At times throughout the production he managed 2 teams at once in different locations, in order to meet filming deadlines.

Christian will talk about his experiences as the Set Decorator on what’s reputed to be the world’s most expensive TV series and share behind the scene stories from this 10 part series.

Marco Polo premieres on Netflix on Dec 12.

Christian has worked on many successful Australian and international productions including Redfern Now, Tracks, The Railway Man, The Straits, Eye of the Storm and East of Everything just to name a few.  He will share tales of his professional journey, his career highlights, how he got started in the industry and how he got his big breaks.
