Open to all Screenworks members interested or experienced in writing for film, television or digital media.
Come along and meet with other local screenwriters to discuss and develop your craft of writing and story telling for the screen.
There will be an opportunity to discuss participants concepts and to read excerpts from Scripts. If you have a concept that you would like to discuss at the meeting, please fill in this submission form and bring it along to the meeting. Your submission will be placed in a box and 3 concepts will be randomly drawn from the box for discussion at the meeting.
If you have a script excerpt that you would like read, please bring along up to (10 pages), your submission will be placed in a box and up to 3 excerpts will drawn out for a reading at the meeting.
We’re asking for a gold coin donation to help cover the cost of hall hire.
Screenworks will provide tea and coffee you may like bring some food to share.
WHY A REGULAR SCREENWRITERS GROUP MEETING:
A good story is essential to any good screen production and we know how important it is to nurture our storytellers. We want help our local story tellers write their stories and we want to help them connect with screen industry professionals, producers and filmmakers who can assist them to bring their stories to the screen.
