Co-presented by AIDC (Australian International Documentary Conference) and Screenworks, REGIONALITY is a new one-day industry program for regional documentary practitioners – combining pitching, masterclasses and networking into one jam-packed day providing international exposure for regional realities.

As part of REGIONALITY, regionally-based NSW practitioners with market-ready projects across the documentary and factual sector are being called on to apply for the REGIONALITY Pitch.

This live pitching opportunity will see up to four teams selected, provided with international training, mentorship, and trailer editing, before pitching to key local and international decision-makers. Post-pitch meetings between interested decision-makers and pitching teams will also be facilitated by AIDC.

In addition to the REGIONALITY Pitch, shortlisted teams will also participate in the one-day industry program REGIONALITY.

The REGIONALITY program includes:

  • the live REGIONALITY Pitch
  • high-level masterclasses with international heavyweights
  • business opportunities including one-on-one meetings and networking drinks to end the day

The program takes place at the Lennox Head Cultural Centre in Northern NSW on Friday 25 June 2021.

Applications for the REGIONALITY Pitch are now open – deadline Friday 14 May 2021

Tickets for the one-day event are now on sale and open to all.
