22 May, 2024 – Screenworks today announced some of the guest speakers for its popular Regional to Global Screen Forum which will be held in Lennox Head, NSW 31 July – 2 August 2024. 

With three days of engaging and highly practical sessions, one-on-one meetings and networking activities, Screenworks’ Regional To Global Screen Forum will provide opportunities for all who attend to connect with industry decision-makers and influencers in a relaxed beachside setting. 

Renowned Indigenous writer/director Jon Bell and producer Mitchell Stanley will be joining the forum to talk about the making of the horror film The Moogai, which has screened at Sundance and SXSW and is programmed for the Sydney Film Festival.

Producer of the critically acclaimed SBS drama Swift StreetLois Randall and her team discuss the process of discovering the people and the story that brought about the ‘fresh, bingeable crime series’. Lois is an award winning producer whose credits include Black SnowSeriously Red and Sea Change.

Five-time AACTA Award winning writer and producer Adam Zwar who recently created the popular Channel 10 comedy Mr Black and also co-created the comedy series SquintersLowdown and Wilfred will share his insights on a career as a regional-based writer.

Damon Gameau (2040, That Sugar Film) and Anna Kaplan are co- founders of Regen Studios and work with philanthropists to build impact campaigns. They will reveal how they use storytelling to activate audiences.
