30 May, 2024 – Screenworks is delighted to announce that Jessica Gillan has joined the team as the new Industry Programs Manager, replacing Louise Hodgson who has moved into freelance production.

As Screenworks’ Industry Programs Manager, Jessica will be responsible for developing and delivering Screenworks’ annual program of events and initiatives which are designed to build skills and enhance the careers of regional screen creatives and crew.

Jessica will support the roll out of the last couple of months of Screenworks’ 2023/2024 program in addition to designing and implementing the 2024/2025 program including Screenworks’ Career Pathway Programs, talent and skills development programs, mentoring initiatives, and webinars. She also comes to Screenworks just in time to help finesse and deliver our annual Regional to Global Screen Forum 2024 which will be held in Lennox Head 31 July – 2 August.

Jessica brings with her a wealth of knowledge across theatre, screen and education. She prides herself on nurturing talent, fostering networks, and cultivating opportunities. With a Master of Arts in Screen Business and Leadership, Jessica operates at the dynamic crossroads of business acumen, creativity, and innovation. She is passionate about uniting value-driven networks to forge new pathways with experience working across several esteemed organisations including Production Studio; Eternus Creative, VFX Studio; Industrial Light & Magic, and The Australian Film Television and Radio School.
