Rebecca has worked solidly in the Australian film industry for over 15 years. She launched her career at Metro Screen where she was employed to create initiatives and provide support for emerging filmmakers, then moved into production and was employed by various companies to produce short format films as well as commissioned to produce films with communities stretching from Arnhem Land to Redfern and out to Lightning Ridge.

In 2002 she then relocated to Northern NSW and continued her work by receiving numerous grants, and in 2007 Rebecca was employed as the Events and Membership Manager at Northern Rivers Screenworks.

In 2009 Rebecca made a major shift in her career and started developing stories for TV, and several years later, whilst juggling motherhood, she had her political thriller ‘Hackworth’ Optioned by Goalpost Pictures.

In 2016 she was a recipient of ‘Inside The Writers Room’, an initiative funded by Screenworks in collaboration with Ambience Entertainment.

Rebecca has also just been awarded the Metro Screen Open Fellowship by the Australian Directors Guild to attend The 2017 Annual Stowe Story Lab in Vermont USA with her latest psychological thriller series Dog Box.

The biggest acknowledgment for Rebecca so far is to be shortlisted for the AWG Prime Time competition with her cutting edge TV Crime series ‘Dog Box’.
