With the screen industry conference season ready to ramp up again in 2021, now is the time to start developing your screen ideas and your industry pitch to be ready to attract a producer, investors and broadcast interest. Applications are now open for creators of scripted and factual content from regional South Australia to apply for the Developing and Selling Your Ideas: pre-conference season workshop.

Presented by Screenworks in partnership with Media Mentors for South Australian Film Corporation, this workshop goes beyond mere pitching and starts with the stories you want to develop and sell.  It also provides insights into the screen industry’s conference worlds, both online and in person.

Delivered over 3 sessions from January 7 – 21, 2021 this highly practical, interactive course instructs on how to develop screen stories into content you own and can sell. It will also assist you to prepare for screen industry conferences, promote your relevant experience, skills and attributes confidently.

The workshops will be online sessions via Zoom and will include how to prepare, write and deliver a confident pitch for your story both online and in person.  The course tutors, Denise Eriksen and Esther Coleman-Hawkins of Media Mentors have extensive experience in developing and producing screen content and will be available via email and phone to further support the participants learning.
