Screenworks has today announced the speakers for its opening keynote session and revealed the third set of speakers for its annual screen conference, Regional to Global Screen Forum, which will be held in a hybrid in-person and online conference format in late March.

A further seven speakers have been announced today including industry influencers and executives from the production, not-for-profit and distribution sectors:

  • Jo Azzopardi – VP Australia, NZ, Asia, Beyond Rights 
  • Nha Uyen Chau – Founder/CEO, LGI Media
  • Fiona Gilroy – Content Sales & Acquisitions Director, Flame Media
  • Charlotte Brigel – National/International Sales & Marketing / Business Manager, Byron Film Studios
  • Tracey Corbin-Matchett – CEO, Bus Stop Films
  • Dianna La Grassa – COO & Board Member, Bus Stop Films
  • Chris Hilton – Independent Producer  

In a special double announcement, Screenworks has also revealed its speakers for the opening keynote of the Screen Forum, with Penny Smallacombe, Head of Indigenous at Screen Australia in conversation with long time colleague and peer Rhoda Roberts AO.

Held over three packed days with workshops, presentations, one-on-one meetings, round tables and networking events, the Regional to Global Screen Forum will provide opportunities for regional practitioners to connect with global decision-makers and industry influencers.

Both digital and in-person ticketing is on offer, with a live streaming portal in place for digital ticket holders and strict COVID-19 protocols for in-person attendees.

Reciprocal access to Australian International Screen Forum

Thanks to a new collaborative partnership, attendees of the 2021 Regional to Global Screen Forum will also receive access to the 2021 Australian International Screen Forum which is taking place online from March 21-26.

These two events will create a week-long experience of bilateral conferences, screenings, meet-ups, panels sessions and workshops from New York to regional NSW’s Lennox Head.

The Australian International Screen Forum in New York City is an annual screen industry conference that aims to connect, inform and promote collaboration between the Australian and US film and television industries.
