The Screenworks Story
For 25 years Screenworks has been supporting regional people to pursue their film and television career ambitions. We provide professional development opportunities that help regional filmmakers enhance their skills, advance their projects and elevate their careers.
Our programs ensure both creatives and below the line screen workers from regional Australia engage with the broader Australian screen industry. Screenworks advocates for regional practitioners at a local, state and national level.
Around 40% of our funding comes from government agencies, 30% comes from program partners and around 7% of our funding comes from membership fees and event ticket sales.
We need donations and philanthropic support to help us keep supporting people from the regions to pursue their screen industry careers.
