“I have taken in so much knowledge at the seminar, it will definitely help me grow as a contributor to screen” said Marna Smith, who attended Business of Producing 2019. “The legal information, networking, pitching and understanding more about the industry in Australia and its connections overseas will all inform my future creative practices. I gained a good understanding of the changing environment and how getting funding for a project needs to be viewed in light of the changing landscape. It inspired me to be bold, proactive and embrace new technologies and pathways”.
“We are very proud to deliver this valuable program to Australian screen practitioners and have put a number of inititatives in place to make sure that it is accessible to regional screen practitioners in particular” explained Screenworks CEO Ken Crouch. “We have kept the price of the event down, made single day tickets available and offered travel grants and scholarships to assist regional NSW and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander practitioners to attend.”
Tickets are available now and be aware that some events at the seminar do sell out.
One on one meetings will be open for booking at midday on March 9.
Accommodation and conference travel is available through our accommodation and travel partners TAG and can be contacted via email on [email protected].
