Grant Writing 1

Grants are often held up as the holy grail of a successful arts career, and to be awarded “free” money can feel like a blessing, until you realise how much extra work is involved in researching and writing grants in the first place.

This fun and practical half-day workshop helps artists to learn about grants, devise strategies to support their proposals and give guidance and tips on the written application.

Grant Writing 2

Grants are incredibly competitive, and the difference between a winning project and not being chosen is sometimes miniscule. Once you’ve found the grant you want, and submitted your application – what next? What if you don’t get it – and what if you do?

This practical half-day presentation builds on Grant Writing 1 – The Start and helps creative professionals become “grant savvy”. You’ll learn to develop an eye for projects and ideas that will develop your career, build your capacity and deliver arts services in your community.
